ACTIVATION CODE

Question

Hallo all, 
 
 happy new year! 
 
 I would like to ask you a piece of advice regarding reactivation of the Studio 2015 after reinstallation of the PC. 
 How can I remove the previous valid code so that I can reenter it again newly? 
 When clicking on Product activation under the Help section of the software, there is no "Deactivation" button, but the activation one. 
 I do not know how to deactivate it offline - can you please provide me with some instructions? The ones I found did not work.

Hello , 
 
 You can reset you4r own license by accessing your SDL account/Licenses- scrolling to Studio 2015 and clicking on return license-

You will then be able to use the same activation code in order to (re)-activate your machine.

 thank you, but I unfortunately get this error message: 
 Activation failed. Please provide quantity less than or equal to the remaining quantity 0. 
 How should I proceed?

Hello , 
 I have also been unable to reset the license for you- so please log a license reset ticket- 
 
 (please select License reset option) tthe license team should then be able to resolve this for you.

 If you can't do this then absolutley log a case. 
 For licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working we have a route for all customers to get help. This can be achieved really quickly using this link:

 You have two options: 
 1. Submit a case using a webform 2. Use live chat to get a licence reset 
 You want to use the second option and make sure that you refer to this thread so the teams can see what you have tried already.
