I have just run a test with the application and cannot replicate this-

Please ensure (1) you close Studio and then (2) remove all traces of the plugin from these folders

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Packages\

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Unpacked\

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Packages\

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Unpacked\

c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Packages\

c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\15\Plugins\Unpacked\

c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL Community\

Now reinstall the app- ensuring you have administrator/install rights.

Thank you very much for your kind help.

I could successfully re-installed the add-on and no error message was displayed when starting Studio after removing the files and folders you pointed out, (I guess you might understand only the error message in my post though ;-)

Hi , I am having the same problem with Studio 2021. I removed everything and reinstalled the plugin (from the file, not from integrated AppStore, but I still get the error message.

I would always suggest starting a new thread, when one has been answered and is now over two years old- I only saw this by accident and nearly missed it.

Please uninstall the plugin completely as described above and then try installing via the AppStore integration.
