Thank you very much for your answer. Unfortunately it is of no help for me because if you read carefully my post you will  see that the settings in my trados have change to work with package and projects because when follow the steps for practise of the getting started guide I had to create a memory for practise and the software automatically replaced my setting for this new ones which I believed it would coexist with my settings. Now I can't use trados.

The software is capable of retaining settings for as many different templates or resources as you choose to work with.  It doesn't replace anything.  I think the issue here is probably related to you needing to learn a little more about the software works.

If it's purely related to you setting Studio up with the languages needed to work on the getting started material then indeed you will have to reset the languages because in 2019 you can only work with five main languages.  Note that this means you select any Spanish and you get all the Spanish, any English and you get all the English.  You do not need to select several Spanish variants or English variants... it's enough to select one.

In 2021 this restriction has been removed and you get all the languages and don't need to make a selection at all.

But once I cretaed the memory for practisa it also change from freelancer work  (individual and personal memory) to package and projects (to work with a server based memory). Also the languages options for English is just Cornish.

I think your problem is probably due to unfamiliarity with the software rather than there being a problem we need to fix.  Perhaps, if the support team are not able to help you, we can spend a few minutes on a call to look at this together and explain a few fundamentals of how to work with the software.  Maybe that will help you to get started faster?  Drop me an email at pfilkin@sdl.com if you would like to do this and we can take a little time tomorrow.
