Dear Support-Team,
I am using Trados Studio Freelance 2017 (all updates are already installed) and would like to install the corresponding DeepL plugin for this Trados version.
I have purchased the trial version of DeepL Pro. When clicking on the DeepL app nothing happens. There is not even an error message displayed on my screen.
I also turned off my virus protection on my desktop PC, but it did not help.
What could be the problem?

I have tried installing another app from the App Store but it was not successful. No error message, no installation. There seems to be a problem with installing the plugins. Is there some kind of workaround?

Are you able to download the plugins at all?
Are they in your downloads folder?
Perhaps try using a different browser may help.

Yes, downloading plugins is not a problem at all.

Assuming you have closed Studio, copy the plugin to your deskop- does double clicking start the installation?
Its worth noting here that some browsers prevent you from installing anything any more from the downloads' folder.

No, it does not install the app when double-clicking the plugin, although the app is now on the desktop.
