Thanks for contacting us regarding this matter. We can see a subscription purchased on your account, so it doesn't come with a license, but the subscription can be activated through SDL Language Cloud.

I have the same issue, but I purchased an upgrade from 2017 Freelance Plus to 2021 Freelance Plus. When I open Studio I am asked to enter my licence number, but there is none on my account. Please advise. Thank you!

Hello Karin,
When you purchase an upgrade, you still need to process it in order to get the license for Studio 2021.
To process your upgrade- please follow the below steps:
5.On the next page appearing please click on the upgrade button
6. Once this process is done please click again on the Licenses tab and the license code of your 2021 version will appear
PLEASE NOTE:
When upgrading, SDL allows you to continue using your previous version under certain criteria***- allowing a smooth migration process to the latest version.
If you wish to keep the previous (2011/2014/2015/2017) FREELANCE license on the same machine as Studio 2021-
PLEASE DO NOT deactivate the actual license in Studio-
ONLY process the upgrade in your account. A deactivated license cannot be reset!
***Applicable only to freelance licenses
You may continue to use the legacy version until-
-you attempt to migrate the software to a new PC/ cloud storage etc.
-deactivate the license (intentionally or by mistake)
-upgrade your OS
-reformat your hard drive
