I have bought and paid Trados Studio 2021 but it does not show in my SDL account under "licenses".

  • I think you are confusing two things, or you are just confusing me!  You said this:

    in order to activate the product on a second machine I might have to de-activate the 2019 version first.

    To activate on a second machine suggests you want to run this on two machines at the same time.  Hence my answer.

    This time you said this:

    In this case you will have to deactivate the product in your SDL Account, but you DO NOT have to deactivate the product itself.  This way you can continue to run 2019 on the first machine until it tops working, or you have to reinstall.  You will never be able to re-licence 2019 on a different machine to the one you run 2021 on because you have exchanged it for the new one.
