Why can I install Studio 2014 SP2 in a new machine? (Intel Core i5-8265U, 8 GB RAM, Win 10 Pro 64 bits)
It generates an error when downloading some components (Visual Basic, Framework, etc.) required. It should be no problem, but somehow it can't download them. Please see the error log attached.
The error message itself says: "An error occurred downloading the following resource:
http://downloadcentre.sdl.com/prerequisites/DotNetFX35SP1/Tools/clwireg.exe"
It doesn't even begin to download any files.
I have already tried the steps given by Steven Whale here but no deal, I keep getting the same error messages.
Btw, I did all the deactivation process OK in the old machine and it appears as available in my SDL Account, but am struggling with the most simple of all, this new installation.
