Deactivate license

Dear Support Team,

I installed Trados Studio 2021 Freelance on a trial version of Windows (using Parallel on a Mac computer).

I now want to install a proper version of Windows, but I'm afraid that if I don't deactivate my Trados license first, Trados won't run on the new Windows version.

However, when trying to deactivate Trados, I get an error message that says "There are multiple instances of this application running. Close the other instances before deactivating the license".

I have no other instances running. How do I solve this so that I can deactivate my license and reactivate it later once the right version of Windows is installed?
