Cannot deactive license

Question

In my account, my license is listed as &ldquo;Avalilable&rdquo;. In the Trados Studio 2021 software, the status is &ldquo;Activated&rdquo;. When I try to deactivate the license in the software, an error message reads: &ldquo;Deactivation failed. Revocation is either complete or revocation proof is already loaded.&rdquo; 
 This means I cannot deactivate online in the software, and I cannot deactivate offline because the license &ldquo;thinks&rdquo; that it is already deactivated.

 Please do the following on your computer to deactivate the license locally: 
 
 Close Studio. 
 Go to: C:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\Data 
 Rename the file Studio.lic, e.g. to Studio_old.lic. 
 Reactivate Studio on the PC where you need to work with Studio. 
 
 Note: If you can't find the path above, open Windows File Explorer, click on View and check "Hidden Items" checkbox.
