I recently switched my local network to a windows domain based network to make file storage easier.

I have been using Studio 2021 Freelance professional up until now.

Now I get the error message that freelance doesn't work on domain based networks.

I want to be clear here, that it is still installed locally the the respective PC and it is not deployed through the network or anything like that.

So is there any way to make this work.

I know that upgrading to professional would work but that certainly seems like overkill to pay a couple thousand euros extra if I am using studio in the exact same way as before.

Again, I don't want to deploy and use it on all the pc's in the network. I simply want to keep using it on the single PC it is locally installed on.

And wether the user account is authenticated a domain controller or locally really shouldn't matter for the Software since this is really the only difference that matters in this case.
