I use Studio 2021 via Parallels on Mac.
First time this happened I repaired Studio - no change.
Then I deinstalled and reinstalled everything - Studio worked. I could work on translation of single documents without problems.
But as soon as I created my own project it happened again.
What can I do?
As soon as I delete the "Projects" folder, Studio works again.
If that is the case, your Projects.xml file may be corrupt. Studio will create a new Projects.xml file which will not contain any projects from the past. You can use the "Open Project" command from the ribbon to register any project in Studio you would like to continue working on. However, it does not make much sense to open also old and finished projects. Keeping the projects list short and tidy with only unfinished recent projects helps avoiding problems with this list and gives a much better overview on what has to be done still.

Thanks for explaining, Jerzy, but I need to be able to create Projects myself. If the issue is file corruption why didn't it stop after I deinstalled and reinstalled Studio? I deleted all files beforehand.
The Projects.xml contains the list of your projects. This file will never be deleted by uninstalling Studio.

Yes, I have found the xml folder in my system, and when I delete I can open SDL again.
When I close it again a new xml folder is automatically created.
When I try to open SDL a second time I only get the prompt.
How can I stop this from happening?
