Crashes without prompt, something to do with a "bad translation memory"

The system sometimes crashes after trying to save a segment in the TM, prompting bad or corrupt TM. On other occasions, it just crashes without prompt, but always when inputing a segment into the TM.

Event data usually preceding a crash: - something to do with ntdll.dll. I work on Windows 10 and the system is fully up to date, both critical and optional updates installed.

  • The program has now become increasingly unstable, and crashes often without any prompt.

Window's Event Viewer shows it has something to do with KERNELBASE.dll, although crashes involve various dll files, this is just the last crash I have experienced.

I don't find a similar problem in the vast community and huge number of issues posted in the RWS Community.

I haven't been approached by RWS Staff regarding the problem, despite not having any response from within the community. And the issue seems to be getting worse.

Funny how a program can destabilise without actually tampering with it, with its normal functioning. But then I'm not an expert here, I'm sure it's perfectly explainable.
