Can you also try the contents of this article: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge and check if you can activate Studio?
If the error message still occurs in the notification box "no internet connection" it`s just a visual notification and the cloud integration should not be affected.
If you are still not able to activate Studio 2022 on Windows 7, please have in mind to upgrade it to Windows 10 or 11
