Hi team!
I got a problem like this: after installing Subtitling and disable the numberpad as per its instructions, trados studio 2021 flashes with a popup box quickly and has gone, what happened? I can't use the studio any more.
I need a prompt solution since I have work to do. Urgent!
Please delete the following folders and try to restart Studio. If all is well then reinstall your plugins after making sure you have the latest ones for your product, either from the appstore at https://appstore.rws.com/ or by using the integrated appstore in Trads Studio:
c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins
c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins
c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins
If you have manually downloaded your plugins from the AppStore then double click them to install them again, or preferably download the ones you want and install them via the integrated AppStore in Trados Studio.
Both deleted. I got a new one: Failed to initialize view "SimpleStartView"

ok - so looks like a full reset will be more helpful for your problem. To do this just close Trados Studio and then rename this folder:
c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\
to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16_old\
If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:
Then restart Trados Studio and see if that helped.
Renamed, but it doesn't work, either.
Is there any app to clean uninstall the studio? So I can install the studio in a clean environment, Maybe it work.

I have logged a case, but if you want to try a clean reinstall in the meantime... try the following.
1. Uninstall Studio
2. Uninstall MultiTerm
Now manually delete these folders if they are still there (back up your TMs, Termbases, AutoSuggest Dictionaries and Projects first in case you make a mistake):

I think that's about it for a clean install. Then reinstall.
Deleted. Got another error when installing: package 'previous versions of trados studio 2021 could not be removed'.
It sounds to me as though you have followed some unusual process to uninstall and have been left with something on your system in the registry. I suggest you wait now for the support team to assist you with this.
