Could anyone please point me to a source where the licensing process for Studio is described in detail so a humble mind like me can understand it? Where terms like "Deactivating a license" and "Resetting a license" and the difference between the two are explained?
And does anyone know why I can't reset my license more than tree times a year (whatever "resetting" means)?

"Deactivate a license" is when you follow the normal process of deactivation from Studio > Help > Product Activation.
"Resetting a license" is a workaround / force deactivation for when the normal process described above doesn`t work.
The normal deactivation process works in almost all cases so I would say that 3 resets per year is a fair amount in case the normal deactivation doesn`t work.

Now, I when I want to deactivate my Studio 2021 Freelance license on NotebookOld, WIN 10, (to activate it on NotebookNew, WIN11), I get the following error messages:
[In German]: "Deactivation failed"
[In English]: "Revocation is either complete or revocation proof is already uploaded". (Whatever that means)
Trying to reset the license won't do anything at all.
Any good idea? Where should I turn to to have that problem solved so I can activate my license on NotebookNew? SDL seem to take pretty good cover when problems crop up.
