We have bought some upgrades from Studio 2021 to 2022.The rest of our network licenses will remain version 2021 for some time.
In order to be able to run x network licenses with Studio 2022 and y network licenses with Studio 2021: How do we have to proceed?
I think that we will need two separate licenses in this case, is this correct?

At the moment you have 8 licenses for 2021and 6 upgrades available from 2021 to 2022. Here are the steps to upgrade and activate the licenses:
1. Deactivate the 2021 licenses from License Manager: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001384
2. Reactivate back how many licenses you need to keep for 2021: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001384
3. Upgrade how many licenses (maximum 6) you want from 2021 to 2022: https://gateway.sdl.com/apex/communityknowledge?articleName=000001319
4. Activate the newly upgraded 2022 license in License Manager. This can be done on the same server in License Manager, just make sure you have the latest version installed: https://downloadcentercdn.sdl.com/tp/Trados/T2022/Licensing/SR2_CU10/LicenseServerManager17.0.134.exe

Thank you for the detailed description. I have checked the licene manager and saw, that there is a "AllowTQA 2021" license as well as a "ProfessionalEdition 2021" license, see screenshots below. This is due to the fact that we had Studio 2019 and Stuido 2021 running in parallel before upgrading all licenses to 2021 some month ago.
Question: Will the process described in your answer run smoothly and without issues under that condition? Are there additional or preparational steps that have to be performed before the upgrade?

Can someone please react to my reply above? - I would like to use the 2022 licenses but I'm not shure if my setup with "AllowTQA 2021" does fit to the update process described by Sorin.

Sorry for the late reply, I was out of the office for the past 2 weeks. "AllowTQA 2021" and "ProfessionalEdition 2021" are simply some features for the 2021 license and they don`t have anything to do with other versions of the license (2019 or 2022). You can apply the steps I sent without any issues. If you want I can log a support case for you and schedule a remote session and do this together to make sure everything goes smoothly.

I am sorry but we need your assistance in order to activate/deactivate/migrate our Networking licenses.
In License Server Manager, I click on "DEACTIVATE ALL" and get:
There are still 6 licenses in use by the UNKNOWN (allow TQA). If I click on DEACTICATE ALL for these 6 licenses, nothing happens. I still see this on our RWS Account
How to proceed? How can we deactivate all 8 licenses?
