Today I downloaded the new service pack for Trados Studio 2022, after which I was able to open the program without any problems. Shortly afterwards I wanted to install some plug-ins and got the error message. I think I accidentally installed a plugin twice.
Then I deleted the "Plugins" folder, as suggested in the community as one solution. Now I no longer get the error message, but I can open Studio 2022 at all the same.
Could you helb me?
Try a reset. To do this just close Trados Studio and then rename this folder:
c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17\
to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\Studio17_old\
If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:
Then restart Trados Studio and see if that helped.

Thank you, Paul, for your suggestion! Unfortunately, it didn't work: although a new folder was created, it only contains one file called "logs". Trados still cannot be opened. If you have another idea, I would be happy.
please double check the folder you renamed. This should not contain a folder called logs at all. I have seen users in the past not renaming the correct folder, but one similar because they mistakenly believe it must be the same one.
If you can’t see it please pay special attention to the link I provided on how to see the hidden holders on your computer.
Otherwise please provide a screenshot of this folder location with logs in it.

I'm going to guess it's this:
c:\Users\[yourusername]\AppData\Local\Trados\Trados Studio\
And not the one I asked you to rename here:
c:\Users\[yourusername]\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio\

C:\Users\Ulla\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio
Please make sure you are showing the hidden folders because this should not contain only logs. It should contain this:
If it does then please delate this folder:
C:\Users\Ulla\AppData\Roaming\Trados\Trados Studio
Then retart Studio and see if this improves your situation?
If it doesn't please try running a repair installation via add/remove programmes.

Indeed, the old one which I renamed "old" contains everything I see in your list. The new one which was created after the restart of Studio contains the "logs" file, nothing else
