Uninstall/reinstall problems Trados Studio 2021

Question

Hi all, 
 All started when I tried to open a Studio package which triggered a cryptic error message. Several unsuccessful trials later, I decided to uninstall and reinstall Studio again. After having deactivated the software, I tried to uninstall it which also resulted in an error message. I then followed other advice saying that I had to uninstall the software manually, which I did, but probably did not catch every detail. Now I am stuck: I cannot reinstall the program as this triggers another error message, and I do not know how to proceed from here.
