Studio 2021 does not open

I receive a failure message: Failed to add window command bar extensions

Unable to open the type "Sdl.Desktop.IntegrationApi.Interfaces.lPluginLoggerFactory" in der Assembly "Sdl.Desktop.IntegrationApi, Version= 16.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=c28cdb26c445c888"

I renamed the files in: C:\Users\%USERNAME%]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio 16 

and then can see the first standard opening windows "First installation of SDL Trados Studio" and the next 2 steps, but then again the app will not open but the failure message appears.

P.S.: Fortunately I have the 2019 installation still running, but this is really annoying. With my last question (at least a year ago), I received assistence from an employee. Did RWS cancel this possibility and provide only paid assistence now???

    There has never been free support as an official channel for anything other than licensing & installation.  We still have licensing & installation support and you're in the right place for it.  But perhaps do a proper clean up first as this is what the support team will probably do.

    Clean install... try the following.

    1. Uninstall Studio
    2. Uninstall MultiTerm

    Now manually delete these folders if they are still there (back up your TMs, Termbases, AutoSuggest Dictionaries and Projects first in case you make a mistake):

    c:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLTradosStudio2021\
    c:\ProgramData\Package Cache\SDL\SDLMultiTermDesktop2021\
    c:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\
    c:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm16\
    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\
    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\
    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm16\
    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\
    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\
    c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL MultiTerm\MultiTerm16\
    c:\Users\%username%\Documents\Studio 2021\Project Templates\
    c:\Users\%username%\Documents\Studio 2021\Projects\projects.xml

    I think that's about it for a clean install. Then reinstall.

    Thank you so much, Paul, this procedure did the trick. ( I had twice a chat with some employee, but if this forum works the same and resolves the problems as fast as you did, I don't have any objections.
