Error with applying templates (not allowed to create projects?)

Hello

I started out with the starter edition to Trados Studio but have since then purchased a freelance subscription, since I need to be able to apply templates when creating projects. I was told the freelance subscription would allow me this, however, my problems is that I cannot. I hope to get some help to make it work properly.

So far, I have de-activated the starter licence, to see if that would solve my issue, but it does not. I have tried to uninstall and re-install (and restarting the computer). Nothing.

I have Trados Studio 2022 installed, to be exact:

Just to show I have de-activated the starter edition:

Screenshot of Trados Studio 2022 SR1 Product Activation window indicating a 'License Expired' status.

And what I have done when trying to apply a template is this:

I have downloaded a file and opened it in Studio,

Screenshot of a file in Trados Studio with a redacted file name, indicating it is a Trados Studio Project File.

I right click to add a template.

Screenshot of the 'Apply Studio Project Template' dialog with various settings and a redacted template name.

Then I get this message "Your current Trados Studio license does not allow you to create projects".

Error message dialog stating 'License check failed, with exception: Sdl.ProjectAutomation.FileBased.LicensingException: Your current Trados Studio license does not allow you to create projects.'

Which I find confusing.

I have tried to create a project from scratch from an old PDF-file I have on my computer. Here, I could apply language-weaver to the translatable file,  then I could apply some termbases. NMT works. But not any templates.

Kind regards,
