Passolo 2018 on Windows 11 Home 64-bit - Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable package missing, but the link referred to is broken/invalid.

I installed Passolo 2018 Translator Edition, but when I tried to launch it, it threw an error at me. Apparently problematic components are:

1. Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 Extended (weell… this is a PARTIAL error, as it DOES display a green check mark next to it and the download link is GRAY, but then it says: "SDL Passolo needs extended version of Microsoft .Net Framework 4.0 (Client Profile is not sufficient)" So… the program needs higher privileges or what?)

2. Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package - this component is apparently completly ABSENT from my machine. (Here, the download link is active/blue. But when I try to click it, it says "this page does not exist" (?) Also I did some research and apparently C++ 2010 is not compatible with Windows 11 anyway??? Of course correct me if I am wrong… but: wouldn’ t a newer (newest?) edition of that redistributable also do the trick? And if not: where do I get the 2010 C++ Redistributable? Not on the Microsoft page, it seems!

If i doubled the topic, I am sorry.

P.S. I do also have Passolo 2022 installed, but the workflow I need to follow is: work on some .tbulic18 packages in English —> translate them to Polish —> sent Polish .tbulic18 packages BACK. I CANNOT change the file format! Which is what would happen if I processed those packages through Passolo 2022, right? I would end up with .tbulic22 or whatever. (Assuming such "cross-breeding" would work at all…) So… Passolo 2018 is the program I need, correct? Slight smile
