My computer was factory reset following a repair. I downloaded sdl again but now I can't activate it because I can't deactivate the previous installation. Please can you do this for me or send me the deactivation certificate.

Thanks for responding so promptly. Unfortunately, I have a deadline to finish some work. 48 hours is no good to me. Is there some way I can reset it myself? I followed the (very confusing) instructions about doing it "offline" but nowhere does it explain how or where you can generate a deactivation certficate.
Your license has been reset. You can reactivate by using the activation code from your account, Products and Plans - Licenses.
