Hello, Urgent! I downloaded Trados Studio 2024 and MultiTerm 2024 Desktop on 09/07/2024 as Csaba(of Trados @rws.com) suggested. I opened the Trados Studio 2024 and saw the following words; o. Trados Studio 2024 Activation, 1. Permanent license, 2.Subscript

Screenshot of Trados Studio 2024 licensing and installation window with seven numbered annotations. The window title reads 'Trados Studio 2024 Product Activation'.

My name is Yuuko AKIYOSHI.
I attached a shot file to show the image of my description.

  • Hello Elisa Maxim,
Thank you for your quick and appropriate advice.
Thanks to you, I can open the Trados Studio 2024 and activate it.
Now, I want to practice a Japanese translation from English, which file has been in the Sample Project in a box of the Project.
In the Edit field, I see the bilingual file, in the Target section, I can see French, perhaps as there are two languages as the set target  languages: French and Japanese. Question 1. Should I have to put Japanese into the Target section? (for reference, Screenshot of Trados Studio interface showing a Sample Project with a bilingual file open. The source language is English and the target language is set to German. The editing pane displays the text 'Getting Started' with corresponding translation 'Erste Schritte'.I attach a shot file.)
Question 2. How can I go back and look at the steps someone set up to work on translating an English file into Japanese?
