Trados 2022 installation error

Question

I tried to install Trados 2022, but the installation process does not advance beyond this screen:

After several attempts, this error popped up:

I already had Trados 2021 and a previous version of Microsoft Visual C++ installed. I managed to uninstall both the old and the new version of Microsoft Visual C++ (I had to use the Program Install/Uninstall Troubleshooter, since it was not possible to uninstall them otherwise), but when I tried to install Trados 2022 again after this, the following error showed up: 
 
 I also tried to uninstall Trados 2021 in case it was interfering in any of these processes and it was impossible to do so (if I use the Program Install/Uninstall Troubleshooter it never completes the process). I have also tried to instal Microsoft visual C+++ 2022 separately, but again the progress bar gets stuck at a certain point and it does not complete the process. Thanks in advance.
