Deactivating Trados on old computer that doesn't exist anymore.

I use Windows on a partition on my MacBook. It crashed 2 days ago and I never managed to access it again, so I just deleted the virtual machine all at once and reinstalled everything from scratch. I can't access Trados to deactivate it on the old Windows, so how do I deactivate it now to activate it again on the new machine?
(I tried with the offline deactivation on Trados website, but it's not working).

Thank you!

  • Hi Martina,

    No you don't... you just need to ask the licensing team to do this for you.  There is no self-service option with 2015 yet.  Go to the Knowledgebase;

    Then go to the tab called Solution Finder  ( ) and now go here;

    Licensing Problems

    - I use SDL Trados Studio 2015 / SDL Passolo 2015

    -- I need to have my license reset

    Pick the correct route for you and if appropriate you will be presented with a form that you can fill in to generate a support request and you will be contacted, normally within a day.

    Also use the Chrome browser to log the case if you have it; you'll get more success in completing the form, and make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.

    I hope this helps.
