I am using SDL Studio 2017. It has been working fine over years.
Last week I uninstalled an even older version (Studio 2011, I think) that was using disk space.
Now my 2017 installation asks me to activate the license.
When entering my license I receive the following error message (translated from German):
The connection to the activation server could not be established. Check the address of the activation server. No SSL/TLS channel could be created.
Please help.

When clicking on the first link I get the message "You need to be logged in to see this article. " (However, I AM logged in since I can answer HERE). When clicking on "Login/Register" it says this:

Works now.
In fact, I had installed an even newer version 2 years ago (Studio 2022) and DE-activated Studio 2017 (so naturally, it could not work now). Why my system linked the startup shortcuts to open that old version, I don't know. But the new Studio 2022 is in fact running fine. I redefined my startup shortcuts to Studio 2022.
