Issues activating my trial license

Question

Hi everyone, I've requested a trial of Trados 2024, but I cannot launch the app without experiencing issues during the authentication. This is what I'm asked for: 
 And nothing works, neither if I try to add my license code that I find on my RWS account page, nor if I try to go to the subscription window. I've tried multiple times to uninstall the app and reinstall it, but the issue is still there. I'm becoming hopeless and I have just 14 more days until my trial finishes, without even being able to try it. what can i do?

 Thank you for reaching out to us! 
 A reset might help you with this. To do this just close Trados Studio and then rename this folder: 
 c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio18\ 
 to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio18_old\ 
 If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders: 
 www.howtogeek.com/.../ 
 Then restart Trados Studio and see if that helped.
