Are Multiterm 2022 and Trados 2022 both installed on your PC? If so, please check that both your Trados and Multiterm are up to date and at the same version. You can do that from Help - Check for updates and then install the required updates, if any.

Hi Elisa Maxim , thanks for your message. Both are the most up-to-date versions of Multiterm 2022 and Trados 2022. I have removed the "Multiterm9" and "Multiterm14" folders and re-installed Multiterm 2022 and now, when I follow the path C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\MultiTerm   the folder is empty...

Charlotte Laigle Could you please provide a screenshot from C:\Users\%UserName%\AppData\Roaming\Trados\MultiTerm? Also, please make sure you are showing hidden items (see the View menu for that).

Please go to the Trados folder instead of SDL and then open the Multiterm folder, if present.

In the Trados folder, there is no Multiterm folder neither, see capture

The only place where I can find a Multiterm 17 folder is the one in the screenshot below. Hope it helps you Elisa Maxim !

Okay, please go back to the Multiterm folder and then rename the Multiterm17 to Multiterm17_old. Then try reopening your termbase.

I've just done so. The issue happens with all my termbases.

Do you still get the same error?

Yes, when I try to open any termbase from Multiterm, it says "This termbase cannot be opened because it has been created with an unsupported version of Multiterm"

I also see that in the Multiterm folder located here : C:\Users\Charlotte\Documents\Trados\MultiTerm, the folder "Termbases" is empty, I don't know if it is helpful Elisa Maxim

Also, do your termbase names or folder names where you saved your termbases contain any special characters/punctuation?

Sorry, that is uncorrect, I don't know what happened but in the end, my personal termbases (the ones I created myself) are still in the folder, see the screenshot
