I'm aware of the offline activation, but I prefer to do it online since it's a license that is moving around between translators, and I need an easy activation and deactivation method. Thanks.

You can try to add exceptions in the firewall for the following but this doesn`t guarantee that the online activation will work:
License Server: 35.241.0.149
OOS server: 51.68.185.201
Https port 443
"Single-user" licenses are meant to be used by a single user, for your needs (moving the license around between translators) there are Network licenses which are intended exactly for this purpose.
