Hello Anca,

Thank you for your reply. I did  a rest only once and it said reset succeeded and that I should wait 30 minutes. After one hour, I tried to enter the code, but it still failed. Now I have no access to the reset button anymore. 

I am clueless at this point.

Hi Noha,

You have one available activation fulfilment in your account so you should be able to activate Trados.

Kindly use offline activation for Trados 2019 - this is an older version and the offline activation and deactivation are advised for it.

It also depends on what Windows you have on the new device. The technical and engineering support for Trados 2019 ended December 31st, 2022.

This means that we cannot guarantee that Trados will work properly on newer operating systems where it was not tested, the list of operating systems tested for all editions is here:

If you are using Windows 11, Trados 2019 was not tested there, and we cannot guarantee it will work properly with that operating system. You can try the below workaround if you are on Windows 11, but as I mentioned above, we cannot guarantee Trados 2019 is going to function properly on an operating system we did not test it on:

In Windows search bar type "Device Manager" and open it and then go to: Network Adapters - Action - Add Legacy Hardware - Install the hardware that I manually select from a list - Network adapters - Choose a network adapter (Microsoft > Microsoft KM -Test).

Then try again offline activation.

I also recommend checking your Vendor tab and the current promotions for upgrades, as you still have until the end of the month the limited possibility to upgrade Trados 2019 to Trados 2024. If you still want to keep the two activations, then the upgrade should be from Plus edition to Plus.
