Dear Ana, thank you for contacting me. What we did yesterday was clean the hard disk and install everything again, we saw no other solution. Now I want to install Trados 2024 again, but I will have to deactivate first, because we gave the laptop another name. I copied the authorisation certificate, confirmed deactivation online, but now I get the message: An error has occurred with your offline-deactivation. Dear Ana, it happened again, at 8.23: the same message and Trados doesn't start. Dorin Todoran had a look at it a few days again, but couldn't find anything. Could you please inform him?

Did you start Studio with a different username as the one used during Studio installation? Maybe you could try to go here C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\Trados\TradosStudio2024SR1 (or TradosStudio2024 if you do not have SR1 installed), locate the setup.exe file, right click and select "Run as admin": This should install TS for all users and could repair the problem.

This problem seems to be connected with a server registered in File -> Setup -> Servers being missing in your configuration. When Studio starts, check the settings there and remove unused or unavailable servers.

No, I didn't use another name. And this didn't work last week, If I remember it well. At C:\ProgramData\Package Cache\Trados\TradosStudio2024SR1 I don't see setup,exe, only an icon called setup. I do have SR1, by the way.
