With the subscription you are always on the latest version (since June 2024 that is Trados 2024). I recommend you use Trados 2024, I cannot guarantee Trados 2022 will also run side by side but you can try.

I can try to install Studio 24, but for the recotd: Studio 22 worked absolutely fine without a hitch until the chain of events I described today. Now it says my license is deactivated and needs to be activated again. The last time this happened, a technician on your side re-activated my license systemically. Can you please check if my license is still active in your internal systems?

als ich im RWS Account eine Zahlungsmethode eingerichtet habe - in meinem Fall PayPal -, musste ich tatsächlich auf "Pay now" klicken, um den PP Account zu verknüpfen - allerdings habe ich dabei nicht wirklich was gezahlt. Danach funktionierte Studio 22 wie oben beschrieben nicht mehr. Ich habe dann Studio 24 runtergeladen, installiert, Computer neu gestartet & mich bei Studio 24 mit meinen normalen Login-Daten angemeldet & meine bestehende Lizenz (wieder) aktiviert. Das hat (bisher) geklappt.

vielen Dank für Deine Antwort, es hat mir schon sehr geholfen zu wissen, dass ich nicht die einzige mit diesem Problem bin. Ich habe inzwischen auch Trados 2024 unter "Download" auf Licences heruntergeladen und konnte es öffnen, habe aber nicht verstanden, ob es sich nur um eine Probe-Version handelt. Ich will Dich heute nicht weiter stören, weil du geschrieben hast, dass du Deadlines hast. Aber vielleicht können wir uns irgendwann nochmal genauer über alles unterhalten, ich habe nämlich noch diverse Fragen dazu.

means that also my license will last until dicembre 2026 even for Trados 2024, is this right?

As explained here  Problems with opening Trados, "license disactivated" with the subscription model you are using you are always at the latest version, so since June 2024 you already own the subscription for Trados 2024. Sorry this wasn't clear so far and you continued using 2022. Until December 2026 you have your subscription to Trados 2024, yes.
