Activation/Deactivation - neither seems to be possible Trados Studio 2024 SR1 - 18.1.3.6657

Hi, I have a strange problem: I deactivated my licence to change it to another computer. I started the software on this other computer but is shows the software as activated. On the other hand, my account on the RWS website shows that I have no licences in use, instead one is available (I have the Freelance licence, so only one can be available).

I tried to deactivate the licence on my software, but it brought no change. I still have the software on my computer "activated" whereas the RWS website shows that no licence is in use. And of course Studio crashes when I try to use it. What can I do?

  • I will now try to reinstall the software. I am not quite sure if I have tried that before, since I already had problems before the Xmas holidays.
