SDL Trados 2015 resetting itself up

Hi, I had an extremely unpleasant surprise this morning when I came to open my SDL to start working. When I double-clicked on the icon, SDL opened up as a setting up wizard, as if it was the first time that I was using it (I have had it for months). It wiped out all my projects, some of which I had saved, some others I hadn't yet, because i was still working on them a few hours before!

Has anybody else had a similar experience and do you know if there is a way to revert this disaster?

Thanks

What probably happened is that Studio started with the "first launch" wizard, probably because one of the settings files was missing or corrupted.

However, this does not mean that you lost your projects. The only thing you may lose is is the list of projects, but the projects folders are still there as they never get deleted, not even if you reinstall Studio.

You will find them in your project folder or - in case you did not change the default - in your "Documents" folder (c:\Users\<your user name>\Documents\Studio 2015\Projects\).

You can reactivate any of these projects by opening it ("Open Project", navigate to the project folder and open the project file).
