SDL Trados 2015 resetting itself up

Hi, I had an extremely unpleasant surprise this morning when I came to open my SDL to start working. When I double-clicked on the icon, SDL opened up as a setting up wizard, as if it was the first time that I was using it (I have had it for months). It wiped out all my projects, some of which I had saved, some others I hadn't yet, because i was still working on them a few hours before!

Has anybody else had a similar experience and do you know if there is a way to revert this disaster?

Thanks

The easiest way is to take the already (partially) translated SDLXLIFF files. You'll find them in the project folder of the concerned project, in the subfolder for the target language. Simply copy these SDLXLIFF files somewhere and use them to create a new project.

This will save you retranslating to fuzzy from the source files.

Another way would be to start with the source files and pretranslate again (which the Prepare task does automatically). This would however not take care of segments you may not yet have confirmed.
