I get the error "Activation not allowed as remaining quantity is 0" after I paste my activation code

Hello, One month ago I upgraded to Trados Studio 2015 Freelance and began using the software in trial mode for 30 days. Those 30 trial days are over and now I was asked to activate my product. I copied and pasted my activation code in the activation dialogue box of my new software and I got the error "Activation not allowed as remaining quantity is 0" . Could you please help me find out how to sort this out?

    You need to ask for your license to be reset. This suggests you have already activated it, and in fact when I checked it was activated the day before yesterday. The process for licensing or installation issues that prevent you from working is fairly quick using this link:

    Just fill in the form and submit it. If you can, use the Chrome browser to log the case, you'll get more success in completing the form, and make sure your email address is entered correctly or nobody will be able to get back in touch with you.

    But this is Mon-Fri so I have just reset your license in case you wanted to work today. It should be available for you to activate now. If you still have a problem then please log a case as something else must be the problem here.

  • URGENT: Please reset my license now. Hello Paul or colleague, I have the exact same problem as Luis above, except my version is Studio 2017 Freelance (Plus). His question was titled "I get the error "Activation not allowed as remaining quantity is 0" after I paste my activation code". Like Luis I am trying to activate after the 30-day licence period. My license shows as activated on January 13, 2017, but the activation code is refused. I had tried at the beginning of the trial period to activate the license (because it did not say not to!), I imagine that triggered the apparently known software bug. I am under deadline pressure and need to use Studio now. I am frustrated that SDL would let this probably preventable problem happen to its paid customers.

    You would be better off creating a new thread if the one you come to is already answered as it's easy to miss your response altogether when using the filters to find unanswered questions.  This thread already looks like this for example:
