I have to translate a table from a mdb file. This table has a specific length (e. g. 20 characters).
How could I check the length (character count) in the translated language?
I'm using PASSOLO 2016 Team unlimited with data base add in. I have connected the mdb file well in my project and have done several translations and updates with my mdb file.

Following your description I assume that the maximum length is not stored in the database table as a column, but a general limitation.
So after you imported the translatable strings into the project you can select all the entries, then open the More tab in the Properties window. Here you can insert the maximum length for all the selected string entries. When you save source list then update all the translation lists the maximum length will be checked for all translations.
