Pretranslate newly embedded resource from already existing source file in project

Hello, 
 I've got an XML resource embedded in a dll file. The texts from this resource have already been translated seperately in the same Passolo project before as a separate XML file (only now they've embedded the texts directly in the dll file). 
 My question now: How can i use exactly the translations from this previous XML file (and only from this XML) to pretranslate the new texts in the embedded XML automatically - so I can ensure that exactly these already existing translations for the strings are used? 
 My idea was to create a glossary from the XML file translations and set the Passolo options so that only this glossary will be used for pretranslation. 
 Or is there a way to use the import function?

The pre-translation function will work but may also pick up translation from other resources. There is a better function. Using the Leverage function you can transfer the translations ID based which ensures that exactly the old translations are taken over. 
 Create a copy of the old project and use it as the source for the Leverage. Configuring the Leverage parameters might be tricky depending on the # of translation lists and # of languages in the project as you have to define exactly from which other translation list in the copied project you need to take over the data.

I've used the glossary way (create glossary and deactivate any other resource for pretranslation. worked fine...
