Is there a way to get the information from additional properties (in my case, additional information in an Excel file, extracgted with the Excel parser) into the SDLXLIFF during export? Very well to have it in Passolo, but no use if I don't get it out to the translators...:-)

This is not possible. Beside the translatable text the SDLXLIFF export is writing the ID, the comment and the maximum string length (character based) to the SDLXLIFF file. All these information can be displayed in Studio.
There are currently no plans to add user defined properties to the export having in mind that it is not clear which properties to export and that SDL Passolo itself is already offering a free Translator Edition that can display all these properties and connect to Trados Studio TMs and MultiTerm termbases.

Is there another file type that we can use to export user-defined properties?
We are adding these properties to projects to then filter strings according to the values defined in the customized properties.
