I am running a command line during a Language Pack Installer build and using the /batch command. We ran into a situation where the source file is older then the one in the passolo project. For this build we don't care as they won't be committing the project file changes. We just want to be able to generate an installer. Is there a flag to tell it to accept if strings have been removed?

You haven't described what happens and what the problem is. /batch will update all files in the project and will generate all target file. If a source file is older (with missing string entries) these entries will be deleted from the project. This cannot be prevented while updating the project. If you know that don't use the /batch and be more specific and only update or generate the necessary files with /update plus specifying the files or use the ifrequired switch.

When using the /batch and it has strings that it wants to delete, I get the following error "Operation aborted by user". So I went into the project on the VM and manually tried to do the steps and found the message about wanting to delete strings.
I should also add that in this scenario. I don't care that it deletes the strings.
Please open the UI on the VM, then go to Options - Batch and activate Allow more than 20...
Then again call the automation with /batch. This should fix the issue.
