Integrated/Linked Solution Approach - Link Resource IDs in user documentation

Hi,

Last year we heard about this approach in the RWS Passolo user workshop.

Has anyone out there recommendations for this approach?

For a very long time we have been looking for a solution how to best integrate the user interface texts into our documents. Our technical authors write with MadCap Flare.

I know it should be possible to refer to the ID in the documents. But I'm not sure how this is done exactly.

Who could help with this? Slide titled 'The Integrated Linked Solution Approach' showing two bullet points about changing manual authoring by using string references instead of writing 'Press Cancel' with an example of code snippet for the Cancel button.
