Hi,
I want to delete a file from a cascaded project. However, when I delete the file from the main project and try to update the subproject, the following error occurs, and the update is not possible:
Cannot find matching translation list in base project
Is there anything I need to consider (such as merging the projects before deletion)?

It is not clear, what you are trying to achieve. All source files in a cascaded project are inherited from the base project and therefore can be deleted in the base project only. What was deleted from the base project, a source or a translation list?
A source file that is no longer needed.
In the base project, select the source file, then call the Delete Source function from the Project ribbon.
Save and exit the base project, then open the cascaded project and update the complete project.
Thanks a lot! This worked perfectly.
However, there was no "Delete source" command in my ribbon, and I had to add the command to a custom group.
