Hi everybody :),
Actually we are using two passolo version on two separated computers.
- One is using the collaborative version
- The other one is using de professional version
The collaborative version is used for updating sources and retrieving translations from the FTP server
The professionnal version is used by the build machine to generate the translations.
The Passolo's project is shared between the two computers by beeing stored into a source manager like GIT and TFS
In a way to automatize the update of the source list , we would like that the computer with the professional version do the update on his side whenever we build a version of our software in one of our QAs environments
The problem is that exported strings cannot be updated with the professional version. It seems that only the collaborative version can do this kind of stuff.
My questions are:
- Is it possible with the professional version to update exported string list or should we have both collaborative version on each computers?
- Are we using passolo the right way by storing a project in a source manager for sharing it between two computers? Should we use the /synchronizeexports command to retrieve all last modifications and push our updated source list instead of using a source manager?
Many thanks!
Best regards,
Florian.
