I have just installed the Xbench plugin for Passolo 2022 but I cannot see it in the Passolo user interface.

The Xbench plugin is something that wasn't developed by the Passolo team. So I would suggest contacting the Xbench support colleagues for help.

The Xbench support team has helped me find the reason. Here the answer form XBench support team.
"The installer for the Passolo Addin places some files in the installation path of Passolo itself. So, if your Passolo is installed at "C:\Program Files (x86)\SDL\SDL Passolo\SDL Passolo Translator 2022" you should find a folder named "System" there, and another "XbenchAddIn" inside "System". Can you see them?
If the "XbenchAddIn" folder is there and contains the "PAIXbenchAddIn.pai" file, then the Xbench icon should be visible in Passolo, (in the Tools tab at least for Passolo 2018, which is the version I have)."
So, I had to reinstall Passolo. After the new installation in in the above-mentioned folder, the icon appears in the Tools tab and it works.
