Storing translations from .csv files in Studio TMs using the addin in Passolo

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to figure out a problem that my colleague and I are having. After translating a Passolo bundle, we want to update our Trados Studio TM with that translation, using the Studio add-in in Passolo, and the Store Translation functionality (Ctrl+F10). However, for .csv files, the option for 'Send to translation addin' is greyed out. For .strings files, this option does in fact works as we'd like. I'm therefore inclined to believe this has something to do with the .csv file type.

Furthermore, the concordance and pre-translate function does not work anymore either on some PC’s. In the past, we didn’t have any problems updating our TM’s with CSV-based files or using other Passolo functionality. For some people this has been an issue since receiving a new PC recently. Other people have been experiencing these issues for a longer time already.

I myself don't use Passolo that often, so I'm not quite sure if this is intended behavior. If so, what would be the correct workflow to store translations from .csv files into our main Studio translation memory? If .csv should actually be 'storeable' in Studio TMs, what could be the problem here?

I did add the file path for Studio 2015 to our Passolo settings.xml file as suggested in another thread, but that did not seem to help.

For the projects in question, we work with Tbulic11 files and Passolo 2011 Translator edition SP 9, 11.9.0.247.

Thanks in advance for any insights you might be able to offer :)

Daniël
