Our current project is to translate strings for the Apple version of a mobile app.
xcstrings is a JSON-based format used by Apple's development environment. The source and translations are contained within the same file. I can use Passolo to extract the localizable English strings using the text parser and produce a translated version of the original file. What is needed, however, is to update the source file with the translated text, inserting translation sections for each target language within the multilingual file.
Can Passolo handle xcstrings files at all? Can it populate the target languages with all the strings that are already translated? Do you have any experience dealing with this file format?
