Is there a string length limit in resx files?

I have one string in a resx file that is very long in English. It is even longer in some other languages, and is getting truncated. Is the truncation a limitation of resx files, or of Passolo?

Oh, quite large and I assume that the probem will be causes by some internal limits. 
 
Looks if developers have inserted a complete file one single text entry. I assume that the content has many sentences and as the .NET parser doesn't support segmentation it would be better to externalize this into a file type that could handle it better like Text, XML, HTML, etc. 
 
I will insert it into the developers database anyway to get more more information about the limits.
