Missing SDL Trados Studio add-in - PAINetAddInManager error.

Hello,
A translator of mine is having trouble connecting to TM using Trados Studio add-in within Passolo 2015. The SDL Trados Studio add-in (as well as others) have disappeared from "Translation" tab. There is only SDL MultiTerm add-in left.
On "Error" tab there is "PAINetAddInManager" (v. 15.1.471.0) with error - specified module could not be found
The add-ins disappeared after a recent update of  SDL Trados Studio freelance 2015 SR2 on version 12.2.5195.7

Passolo version: Passolo Translator Edition 2015 - 15.1.471.0
The exact same issue is also present in Passolo 2011. Strangely in Passolo 2016 the add-ins are in place.
Any ideas? Reinstalling of Passolo didn't help.

    In my experience uninstalling and re-installing usually doesn’t help to fix such issues. Things that you should keep in mind:

    • You need Admin rights to install
    • Please check the pre-requisites like .NET 4.0
    • Never copy DLLs from or into the Passolo system folder. This may result in to undefinably behavior or crashes.

    You mentioned that the problem started after installing Studio SR2. It usually had a new GUID that is not recognized by older Passolo versions. So please also read community.sdl.com/.../6450. It may fix the problem.

    Thanks for an answer. Unfortunately the PAINetAddInManager error and missing translation add-ins persist.
    We tried checking the ".NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0)" option in Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off , after which some updates from Windows Update were installed. Uninstalled Passolo, restarted PC, installed Passolo again and it's still the same.
    We tried installing .NET Framework 4.6.1 from web but it's telling us that we already have it installed.
    We also added the path into settings.xml just to be sure but nope.

    By the way our original configuration was Windows 10 OS, Passolo 2011 with modified settings.xml that pointed to SDL Trados Studio 2015 installation. And this configuration worked and is still working on my personal computer.
