Thanks for your reply! I think I'm all set now. I had a paid Chat GPT account from OpenAI, but I did not realize that what was needed was different. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

What worked for me was buying a "Pay as you go" option with OpenAI, create a project and generate an API key for it. Looks like an API key for Chat GPT won't work. Hope this helps...

But why should you need to buy a “Pay as you go” for 1 project when you already have a paid OpenAI-account?

And how much is that for 1 project?

I don't know. I'm just telling you what worked for me. My API key for my paid Chat GPT account was giving me this "Connection failed" error message, so I tried something else. That said, I think it would help if Trados provided detailed explanations of how to set up this AI Assistant/Copilot.

You are right. Therefore I also asked them by logging a support case. But their answer takes a little bit longer :-).
Btw. They do give detailed explanations in the app store, but when you follow these you get the error message we both got ... :-(.

Lydia Simplicio The OpenAI provider for Trados documentation says that I can choose between an OpenAI and an Azure OpenAI provider. If I have an existing Azure subscription, does it mean that I still need to "Sign up for an OpenAI account", and in the OpenAI account, I can select if I want to use the OpenAI or the Azure subscription?
