I just installed Trados Analyse from the integrated appstore in SDL Studio 2021.
When I try to open the app, whether from inside Studio or as the standalone app, it does not matter, I get the error "An error occurred when trying to create a controller of type "ProjectController". Make sure that the controller has a parameterless public constructor."
Any ideas on how to solve this? I run Windows 10 Professional, I do not have older versions of Studio installed, neither did I have before installing SDL Trados Studio 2021 SR1 - 18.104.22.16884.
I think you should update Trados Studio and also make sure you use the appropriate version for your instance:
22.214.171.12484 is already two versions behind.
I updated Studio today and the version I now have is SDL Trados Studio 2021 SR1 - 126.96.36.19976, so Trados Analyse worked, thank you Paul. I'm still a bit behind on all the latest developments, sorry for…
Hi Paul. I'm getting the same error message and downloading/installing from the integrated appstore isn't helping. I've tried uninstalling then reinstalling, repairing the install, rebooting, whatever I can think of. Nothing works so far. Any ideas what else might be causing this error?
Hi Daniel RadiceI have tagged you in this post: https://community.rws.com/product-groups/trados-portfolio/trados-studio/f/openexchange_applications/39690/problem-with-trados-analyse
I see that what we have up on the community is not complete. I am running some tests now to ensure its works with SR1 and SR2 and will either update the RWS APPStore and/or update the post referenced
